Annual funding for fire and emergency services is provided by the Town board with a levy on property in the Fire District. In addition, the Fire Commissioners and the Fire Company sponsor fund raising activities. These activities include public dinners, car washes, chicken barbecues, raffle tickets, golf tournaments, and annual fund drives. Ever aware of the needs of others, the volunteers also help with Artic League Christmas deliveries, Salvation Army Kettle Drives, collections for tornado, hurricane, flood and fire victims, as well as with local school and recreation activities.
